As of January 1, 2021, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are no longer part of the European Union. This has an impact on the approval of products with radio technologies in these countries manufacturers must comply with new specifications and rules of the responsible authorities. There are even differences between the certification for England, Wales and Scotland on the one hand and the certification for Northern Ireland on the other.

As the end of the transition period granted by the authorities is now also approaching, we would like to clarify the current requirements, responsibilities and necessary steps for market approval in the UK in our whitepaper “UKCA certification – The new regulatory requirements for market approval in the UK”.
