The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) in Peru is requiring cellular devices to be re-certified, with the consequence that prior certificates are no longer valid.

All previously certified cellular devices will require new GSMA TAC letters for certification. In addition, SAR reports are required for cellular wearables operating in bands above 2.2GHz. Applicants are allowed to use existing FCC/CE test reports.

We have prepared further information on the market approval for Peru on the corresponding subpage for you.
