NCC certification for market approval in Taiwan

Radio technology products require NCC approval in Taiwan.
Taiwan

For manufacturers who want to market products with built-in wireless technologies on the Taiwanese market, an NCC certification is essential. The certification is issued by the National Communication Commission and is based on national specifications.

The NCC approval for Taiwan is permanently valid, so that manufacturers do not have to go for a recertification process for non-modified products. As part of the approval process, which lasts between ten and twelve weeks, local on-site testing is necessary.

After the successful approval of a product by the authority, the manufacturer is obliged to display the corresponding NCC certification label on the device. In addition to the actual label, it is also mandatory to present the NCC identification number, which the manufacturer receives from the authority within the framework of the approval.

As part of our certification services, we coordinate the entire NCC certification for you. Our experienced certification team handles the entire certification process, including on-site local testing, ensuring an efficient approval process for rapid approval in the Taiwanese market.

On our website you will find more information about our product testing and certification services. Further information on the requirements for an NCC certification and the related certification label, as well as many other approval regimes can be found in our certification database CETECOM CERT.
