eCall tests now also available at CETECOM Japan

In our Japanese laboratory we now also offer eCall Pre-Testing.
ecall

Since 2018, eCall has been mandatory for all new models of passenger cars (M1) and light commercial vehicles (N1). In order for vehicles to continue to be sold and registered in the EU, car manufacturers must now approve their eCall systems on the basis of EU regulations.

We have always been pioneers in eCall and were the first service provider worldwide to offer eCall approval. In the meantime, official approval tests for eCall certification are offered in our laboratories in Essen and Anyang (Korea). In addition, it is now also possible to conduct eCall pre-tests in our laboratory in Shin-Yokohama (Japan) and thus obtain a more efficient eCall certification.

Further information about our eCall services can be found here.
