Marc Kekicheff, Board Member of EMVCo and Chairman of the GlobalPlatform, will have a fireside chat during the July 16, 2015 BayPay Social Mixer at CETECOM’s Milpitas office.
July 10, 2015 / Milpitas, California – CETECOM is pleased to announce that Marc Kekicheff will have a fireside chat at the next BayPay Social Mixer on July 16, 2015. The BayPay Forum is an innovation accelerator with over 9,000 executives in the payment and commerce industry.
Marc is highly regarded as one of the pioneers in the smart card industry. He is one of the authors of the original EMV Specifications (1996) and co-architect of the original GlobalPlatform Specifications (1998). Marc has also been involved in the multi-application smart card ISO standard 7816-13 (2007) and holds patents in smart card applications and integrated production. Since joining Visa in 1994, he has been responsible for designing, developing and implementing standards and technology strategy for smart cards, mobile and other chip-based form factors. Marc is currently a member of the EMVCo Board of Managers and is Chair for Next Generation Task Force. Marc also serves as Chairman for the GlobalPlatform.
