CETECOM has been an official member and test center of the LNI 4.0 network since May 2017 and supports the German SME in the use and development of wireless technologies in the industrial environment
“As an accredited test laboratory with more than 20 years of experience in wireless telecommunication technologies, we can make a valuable contribution to the various fields of application of the Internet of Things.”, mentions CETECOM CEO Wilfried Klassmann. “CETECOM has established itself as an experienced partner in the licensing and performance of networked devices. In doing so, it is important to measure, test and evaluate the various wireless technologies in order to find the best possible solution for the product.”
With the service portfolio for consulting, testing and certification of products with built-in radio technology, CETECOM is a very good starting point to check new product innovations for technical feasibility before launching the market.
Our association was founded by companies related to the Plattform Industrie 4.0 in cooperation with the federations Bitkom, VDMA, and ZVEI. It aims at supporting the German mid-sized sector in taking a leading role in the global digitalization. As a member, you can experience and test new technologies, innovations, and business models in test centers in the environment of Industrie 4.0 and review their economic feasibility prior to their market launch. Our cooperating test centers offer an ideal environment – with minimal financial and technical risk and absolutely no competitive pressure.
Moreover, they offer the opportunity to introduce the validated results from your test projects into the standardization process. Our association collaborates with both the Plattform Industrie 4.0 and the Standardisation Council Industrie 4.0 (SCI4.0) in order to ensure the compatibility of competing products and solutions. The collaboration of the three organizations guarantees a responsive process of strategy and conception, testing and standardization. Our members’ test projects, which generate requirements relevant for the market are our basis for the path towards Industrie 4.0.
