Acoustic tests with CETECOM

On the basis of decades of experience, our portfolio has been constantly expanded.
Head and torso simulator (short: HATS), which is used to conduct audio tests

Testing audio equipment with acoustic measurements has been part of approval processes for mobile phones for years. Over the past few years, the range of applications for these acoustic tests has expanded.

We are accredited for testing audio equipment and speech quality. As part of our services, we are specialized in testing the acoustic quality of mobile end devices. Depending on requirements, we perform acoustic tests using test head couplers or so-called “HATS” (head and torso simulators) as well as professional microphones and audio sources. Our tests are based, among other things, on the requirements of the Global Certification Forum (GCF) and PTCRB.

In addition, we test the functionality and quality of the voice functions of the head units and emergency call assistance systems in vehicles for the automotive industry. These include eCall and ERA-GLONASS as mandatory emergency call assistance systems in Europe and the Eurasian customs union, respectively.
