SatLabs Qualification Laboratory

The SatLabs Group has established a qualification program. Within this qualification program DVB-RCS terminals meeting the requirements of SatLabs are qualified to bear a quality label and are certified.

The CETECOM test laboratory in Germany, Saarbrücken, has been selected by the SatLabs Group as interoperability test house for DVB-RCS. At the test system available at CETECOM DVB-RCS terminals can be tested according to the SatLabs requirements. As these SatLabs requirements are based on the EN 301 790, all tests are performed according to the EN 301 790 as well.

CETECOM carries out these tests against a test system, being flexible enough to simulate the existing networks. At present only members of the SatLabs Group have access to the SatLabs qualification program. Information on terminals meeting the stringent requirements of the SatLabs Group and having proven this at CETECOM by intensive testing will be available on short term on the SatLabs Web server.
