Customized SAR testing following manufacturer specifications

SAR is the perfect means to show compliance with health standards if the used frequency band of the radio device can be covered by the SAR test system. This does not necessarily refer to devices which are used in proximity to the human head or body. The growing number of radio devices in households and offices must also comply with health requirements.  Therefore a large number of manufacturers, service providers and authorities take advantage of the SAR test services of CETECOM, among them Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Sagem, Samsung, Panasonic, Philips.

Measurements in the following frequency bands / technologies are currently available:

  • 400 - 500 MHz   
    PMR, Tetra, cordless microphones etc.
  • 800 - 950 MHz   
    European and American GSM bands , RFID
  • 1700 - 2000 MHz   
    European and American GSM , UMTS and DECT bands

All radio devices within the above listed frequency bands can be tested. Liquids for different frequency bands can be mixed upon request in CETECOM's chemistry lab.
