Environmental Simulation

Extreme environmental conditions can affect the functionality of your equipment. CETECOM helps you to provide evidence that your equipment meets all necessary conformity requirements concerning safety and working  conditions as  well  as  your own specifications. Services  provided  include examinations concerning:

  • Mechanical  vibrations
  • Climatic  simulation
  • IP classification (IP= International Protection)
  • Tests under extreme environmental conditions

Our test spectrum comprise:

  • Investigating resonances
  • Ageing behaviour (durability testing, thermal load testing)
  • Investigating destructive loads
  • Examinations according to various standards
  • Testing according to your own specifications
  • Simulation of the effects of storing
  • Agitation Signals
    • Sinus static and sweep (logarithmic and linear) 2 - 2000 Hz
    • Sinus during broadband noises
    •  Noise (no periodic Gaussian distribution) 2 - 2000 Hz
    • Shocks and continued shocks
  • Climatic Testing
    • Temperature range from -40° to +180° Celsius
    • Humidity range up to saturation
    • Temperature change
    • Temperature shock
  • Examination of International Protection (IP) classes with respect to:
    • Standards of tangency and object intrusion
    • Harmful effects of water contact
  • Flammability tests

Equipment:

  • Water-cooled dynamic shaker with a max. power of 24 kN and a working range of 2 to 2000 Hz.
  • Several stationary climatic chambers in sizes up to 3,2 x 2,4 x 2,4 m, a temperature shock test chamber with a range from -75°C to +200°C and temperature test chambers up to 300°C.
