Regulatory EMC testing of
electric/electronic subassemblies
for motor vehicles
e-mark / E-mark
Product liability and risk management play a major part in the Automobil Industry. For this reason it is defined that electrical components and electronic subassemblies which are intended for the installation or attachment into/at vehicles must fulfill the regulatory requirements according to EC and ECE Directives. The ‘e-mark’ is the proof of compliance with the Directives set by the European Union (CE). The ‘E-mark’ is based on ECE regulations issued by the Economic Commission for Europe. The testing procedures may only be conducted by laboratories which are accredited by the respective national authorities.
CETECOM is accredited by KBA and SNCH ( the Federal Motor and Transport Authority of Germany and Luxembourg) to conduct the EMC tests and issue the technical report for the Type Approval (e-/ E-mark.
