IP Test Service
For your IP networks and components CETECOM offers an extensive performance service of the TCP/IP protocol family tailored to your request. Our service will provide you answers concerning "Quality of Service" aspects and will support you in analysing your application "Voice over IP".
We test for you:
- IP Performance Testing
Our test service supports you in the analysis of the performance of your IP networks and components by using appropriate defined tests based on RFC 1242, Benchmarking Terminology for Network Interconnection Devices and RFC 2544, Benchmarking Methodology for Network Interconnect Devices for testing of the following aspects:- Throughput
- Latency
- Frame Loss Rate
- Back-to-Back Frames
These tests can be performed on multiple network topologies (Ethernet, Token Ring, ATM and Frame Relay/PPP) and between multiple network media types (Ethernet to: ATM, Token Ring, Frame Relay/PPP).
- Voice over IP (VoIP) Testing
You need answers about the QoS aspects of your IP network for transmission of voice simultaneously to data? We can help you analyse which priority scheme (Differentiated or Integrated Services Model) works best to deliver voice and data over your IP network. For the evaluation of QoS RTP voice flows as well as other data flows are simultaneously generated over your IP network. For each generated RTP voice flow and data flow the following measurements are performed:- Packet loss
- One-way Latency
- Latency Jitter
Furthermore, these measured parameters are used to generate an estimated voice quality score for each of the voice flows (PSQM, Perceptual Speech Quality Measurement). All results will be presented in a tabular and graphical format.
In the field of Acoustic measurements we are able to qualify the voice quality of VoIP-Terminals acc. to. ETSI and TIA requirements. Furthermore it´s possible to modify the above mentioned check points Packet Loss, One-way Latency or Latency Jitter to investigate the speech quality subject to the given parameters.
