Extended Bluetooth® Testing
Even if products are conformant to the Bluetooth@ specification it does not guarantee a seamless interoperability with other device implementations. Following extended Bluetooth® testing services - going far and beyond Bluetooth® Qualification - support to ensure the usability and performance of the devices incorporating Bluetooth® technology.
Interoperability
Minor differences in products due to ambiguous specifications and misinterpretations of specifications are often unavoidable. The best way to find the level of interoperability is by testing the products against several counterpart products. This is currently not done during Bluetooth® SIG Qualification testing.
To address these issues, CETECOM offers extended interoperability testing through testing the products against several counterpart products. This user-oriented testing tackles the weaknesses in qualification and provides a path to:
- Seamless interoperability with other devices
- Usability and performance
- High quality products
Audio Quality
In addition to Bluetooth® Interoperability, CETECOM also focus on audio quality aspects of Bluetooth® products by determining the subjective and objective audio quality of mobile handsets and wearable headset devices supporting the Bluetooth® Handsfree profile. Typical metrics of audio quality testing include loudness, background noise, audio feedback, interference and echo.
