CETECOM Inc., the North American division of the world-wide CETECOM network, was established in 1998.  Situated in Milpitas, California, this state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped and accredited to offer a wide range of services in mobile communications, Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi®, EMC, and regulatory approvals. 
 
CETECOM Inc. offers a comprehensive service portfolio to manufacturers, operators, and module integrators within the telecommunications and information technology industries.  As a one-stop shop test lab, CETECOM is fully equipped and accredited to test wireless products according to the appropriate technical standards and have them certified by the appropriate bodies.  CETECOM has built a solid reputation on its comprehensive service portfolio and expertise within the industry. 

As a PTCRB accredited lab and CATL (CTIA Authorized Test Lab), CETECOM Inc. can perform a wide range of services for 2G, 2.5G, and 3G technologies in mobile communications including PTCRB approval and GCF certification.

In 2005, CETECOM Inc.’s San Diego facility was established to offer services for 3G technologies such as W-CDMA, UMTS, and HSDPA.  This extension furthers CETECOM Inc.’s growth within the mobile communications field.

In addition, as a BQTF (Bluetooth® Qualification Test Facility), CETECOM Inc. is accredited to perform Bluetooth® SIG Qualification services.  To address interoperability issues that qualification testing does not cover, CETECOM Inc. also offers extended interoperability testing.

Furthermore, CETECOM Inc. is a Wi-Fi Alliance® Authorized Test Lab, capable of performing Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ testing for IEEE 802.11 products.

The EMC and regulatory services such as SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) and HAC (Hearing Aid Compatibility) completes the service portfolio since a product cannot be released to the appropriate markets without country specific testing and the required approvals.
