EMC Directive
The Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive 2004/108/EC lay down requirements in order to prevent electrical and electronic equipment from generating or being affected by electromagnetic disturbances. Compliance with these protection requirements is demonstrated by applying the conformity assessment procedure of the Directive. If you are not familiar with the procedure, it is recommanded to involve a EMC Notified Body, especially when harmonized standards are not applied.
Notified Body
CETECOM is a Notified Body according to the latest version of the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC. As a Notified Body, CETECOM is capable of supporting you with the conformity EMC assessment procedure. Either by carrying out - in whole or in part - the procedure on your behalf, or by verifying your assessment and corresponding technical documentation (TCF).

- Following European harmonized standards
(adopted by the European Standard Organization CENELEC). - Without harmonized standards
CETECOM is capable of creating specific test plans when standards deviate or are not yet harmonized.
- Following European harmonized standards
- TCF - Technical Construction File
As a Notified Body CETECOM can assess a manufacturer's Technical Construction File (TCF) and issue a Statement of Compliance. - EC Declaration of Conformity
The final TCF enables the manufacturer to issue the Declaration of Conformity. - CE Marking
The EMC Directive requires that a product bears the CE Marking as a proof of compliance with the requirements of the EMC Directive.
