CETECOM‘s environmental test center is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and offers a range of state-of-the-art test equipment to assess the resistence, long-term behaviour and ageing effects of a product under various simulated conditions. CETECOM tests against international standards (such as DIN IEC 60068-2-1, -2, -6, -14, -27, -30, -38, -47, -48, -64, -78) or customized standards which include also those of many automotive manufacturers. The accredited lab and test environment is constantly further developed following the latest norms.

The crash and shock bench is integrated in a protected area and can be used universally. Test samples up to 200 kg can be crashed at a speed of up to 50 km/h, 50 times the accelaration due to gravity:

In the walk-in salt spray chamber the corrosion behaviour due to the exposure of salt air, salt fog or salt spray can be simulated in fast motion:

  • Corrosion tests according to IEC, ISO and VDA norms


This test procedure enables the simulation of aircraft transportations under vacuum conditions. Aerospace applications can be tested as well.

  • The chamber generates a low pressure up to almost an absolute vacuum
  • Appropriate for sample sizes up to 2000 x 1500 x 500 mm and a testing mass of up to 500 kg 


Test results which occur during crash, shock or vibration tests and cannot be perceived by the human eye, can be recorded through a high-speed camera:

  • 2500 fps (frames per second) in Full HD (1920 x 1080)
  • 5300 fps in HD Ready (1280 x 720)
  • 10000 fps in 640 x 480
  • The measuring values can be recorded simultaneously and image-synchronized
