As a result it is extremely important to get the assurance that your product is qualified for the environment in which it will operate. A lot of products or electronic components have to function long term in a variety of environments. They are exposed to mechanical effects, like vibrations and shocks, while being transported or used. Very often they also have to withstand environmental effects such as temperature, humidity, or solar radiation.
