Aeronautical
Aeronautical telecommunication services must ensure that the operating and technical standards of the radio equipment including antenna, indicators, controls, interconnecting cabling, and the wiring into the aircraft electrical system are in compliance with the Civil Aviation Rules and the stipulations set by the ICAO.
RF test scope
CETECOM offer on-site tests in the aircraft or at the auronautical ground station as well as in our accredited laboratory according to the following requirements:

VHF communication transceiver for mobile aeronautical radio (aircraft based station) - Reg TP 321 ZV 039
VHF communication transceiver for mobile aeronautical radio (land based station) - BAPT 211 TV 025/152
Emergency locator transmitter ELT - ETS/EN 300 676
Radio transmitter and receivers at aeronautical stations of the aeronautical mobile service operating in the VHF band (118 MHz - 137 MHz) using amplitude modulation and 8,33 kHz channel spacing
Apart from the above-mentioned standards, CETECOM is accredited for further national and international standards such as EN 300152, EN 300066, EN 300373 (EPIRB / Emercency Position Indicating Radio Beacons).
EMC and Electrical Safety
EMC and Electrical Safety compliance are basic requirements to launch a product on the market. CETECOM offer the following relevant tests:
- EMC - according to ETS/EN 301 489.
- Electrical safety - according to EN 60 950 for information technology equipment
International Type Approval
CETECOM is accredited to handle the notification procedure for all states in the European Community. We can also support you in obtaining the necessary approvals in non EU countries.
