Acoustics

Meeting the acoustic requirements of telephones, mobile phones as well as VoIP applications is a precondition to obtain a good voice quality and syllable articulation. The same applies to music players, headsets or earphones, where the acoustical compliance determines the final sound performance.
CETECOM is accredited for the testing of sound system equipment and voice performance, amongst others specializing in the testing of Acoustical Quality Evaluation for mobile terminals. The acoustic tests are carried out in automatic test sites equipped with a state-of-the-art acoustic chamber. The acoustic test report of CETECOM are recognized by many countries all over the world as a basis for type-approval procedures.
Test spectrum
CETECOM's scope of acoustical measurements include following testing services. Further tests can be carried out on demand. Depending on the requirements the acoustic tests are complied by using either the “Test Head Coupler Type 1” or the “HATS” (head and torso simulator).
