Saarbrücken, June 22, 2010. CETECOM ICT Services GmbH has achieved a further important goal in the enhancement of her service portfolio. Recently, EMVCo accredited the CETECOM's SmartCard Technology Laboratory for performing Type Approval Tests for chip cards which are used in cashless payment applications. With immediate effect CETECOM offers testing according to EMVCo Level 1 Electrical/Protocol as well as EMVCo Level 2 CCD/CPA (see also http://www.emvco.com/approvals.aspx?id=104). With this, developers of card applications as well as manufacturers of SmartCards can obtain the EMVCo Card Type Approval testing from CETECOM ICT Services on CETECOM's well-appreciated level of professionalism and speed.
